Well done.

Very funny stuff. Keep 'em coming.

Mr-CasTRO responds:

Yes, sir!

Wow.

Did you just actually say "pwned"? Jesus Christ...

Olde-School-Industry responds:

no owned listen more carefully, actually this one could be blamed on our mic.

Killer soundtrack.

Loved that song.

Xict responds:

Yea. I couldn't find any good tracks I wanted to use so I checked the Audio Portal and found Jarrydn. He is a good music artist.

Just a few things:

First of all,

FINALLY. A decent flash animation that dosent involve random objects with clocks embedded in them or retarded animals. This looks like the next "Untill Death Do Us Part".

Next, just a little error here: the spent bullets of a gun don't look as you have depicted. What you have shown is the actuall bullet. When a gun is fired, the spent shell looks like this:

Lastly, just a heads up: you might get a few negative responses due to the fact that this has all been done before. Don't get me wrong, I can't WAIT until the final product is released, but there is a comic called "Priest" that has the same exact storyline this trailer promised. And the new Matrix (Reloaded) contains the very song you used (Linkin Park's 'Session') not only in the movie but also on the soundtrack. I'm not too sure if these are throwbacks, homages, or rip-offs. You should be a little more clear on where you are pulling your ideas from, just to prevent any 'flamming' or 'blamming'.

At any rate, and like a said, this looks VERY impressive. I can't wait until the first episode is released.

Stryda responds:

Hi there...
Thanks so much for the great reply.
First off with the bullet thing, I admit I didnt really research into that. Just pretty much drew what "I" thought they looked like. Umm...I'll bare that in mind next time I do casings.

My film has a lot of influences... Im sure the comic you are talking about is "Preacher" this was brought to my attention early in its production. I was sure my idea was original...I was proven wrong. But the characters differ greatly... In the preacher story his power IS "the word of GOD" which shows he is VERY MUCH a preacher. Mine on the other hand is a depressed psychotic who doesnt believe in God or even HAS a faith any more he just happened to be a priest in his past.
I think its obvious I've been influenced by "The Matrix" it was an awesome film. I am a huge fan of the brother's work...If you look carefully in the trailer you will notice that I use variations on some angles from the actual first film. Its not a rip-off but yes it is a homage. I make it very clear in the actual film by even PROMOTING the "Reloaded" sequal with posters on walls in the film.

To be honest I find it an honour if anyone will even consider my film even ALONG SIDE The Matrix or its sequals. You could say they stop looking at my film for a moment AS A FLASH and instead start comparing it as a cinematic film. Nelson Hurst stated this when making his Flash "Genryu's Blade" I believe this too. I am not a big company, I'm one person working on this project for my own amusement and that of other fans too. Fans of my films influences and it as an animation also.
Thanks again for pointing this out.

Amazing

For the first time ever, I didnt hear a 'cracking' in the audio!

I detected a bit of an accent there. You from England? Or Austrailia? Any-who, that was perfect. Could have used some backround music however. Can't wait until the next one. If there is one... :)

esspat responds:

yeah, i try to keep the audio clean. we're australian. and i couldn't really find any background music that fit in. at all.
don't worry. there WILL be a next one.

Meh

I freaking hate those clocks, and I'm not a huge fan of RHCP, but I realize how hard making these animations can be, so I'll give you that. You have talent :)

LiquorClock responds:

K, <3.

Aweosme

Really really nice--I know how hard it is to make flash animations like these, so--mad props.

P.s.---the Yatta/Colin Mockery throwback gained it a 9 :)

Apeman505 responds:

Notice that Colin's head is on Captain Picard's body... who would make a bitmap like that, I wonder?

Nicely Done.

I may be reading into it too much, but it looks to me like there are a few morals in there. :)

LovablePsycho responds:

Nope, the only message I can think of is if you're lonely, chop yourself in half and all is well!
